Hand-Carved Canoe Paddle (April 16th & 18th) with Martin Thornell

The two day paddle course begins by looking at various paddle shapes, designs and the tools we'll be using to carve them. Paddles will be custom designed based on participant's preferences and body types. We'll walk you through your options and ensure you're well on your way to carving a beautiful custom paddle. 

On our second day we'll be shaping local hardwood cherry down into something sleek and ready for the water. By the end of the day we'll have them sanded and ready for finish.
