Community Membership

The Ottawa City Woodshop is currently at capacity for community memberships. Please

email us at info@ottawacitywoodshop.com if you would like to be added to a waiting list for when spots come open. 

Come work on all your own projects independently in our fully equipped woodshop!

Community memberships are based on access for 1 month. Members are entitled to unlimited access to the shop during operating hours (about 25 hours/week and close to 100 hours/month) over the course of the month. 

The shop is staffed with a qualified and trained supervisor ready to help you turn your projects into a reality while working safely and confidently. 

The shop provides basic space for members to store work in progress, and an option to rent more space should you require it for larger projects. We also have a well-stocked selection of necessary supplies and materials available for purchase. 

All new members are required to complete the 'Woodshop Basics' course.  New members will be given additional information on OCW rules and procedures during one of their first visits to the shop.

• Membership becomes effective once it is purchased online.
• Please ensure you've previously taken part in a Woodshop Basics course prior to purchasing a membership.

• Monday - Wednesday: 5:30pm - 10:00pm
• Sunday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
