Intro to Pen Turning 

Make your own pen while learning the basics turning wood on a lathe. 

Participants will receive one-on-one instruction on wood preparation and selection, and a basic introduction to the lathe, including safety. A variety of woods will be available to choose from including walnut, maple, and others. All materials will be provided.

Each pen will take roughly 1 hour, from start to finish.  Three time slots are available: 1 PM, 2:15 PM and 3:30 PM. Please email martin@ottawacitywoodshop.com to reserve the block that you'd like.
