Cutting Boards (May 24th & 31st, 6:00 - 9:30 PM) with Eric Young

Please join the locally famous Eric Young of Grassroots Furniture Company for his acclaimed cutting board course. This guy makes his bread and butter producing some of the finest boards in all of the land, and we're excited to have him share his skills and theory with you. Participants will begin by learning how to joint, plane and join wood. These skills are transferable and applicable to countless other woodworking projects.

On the second day, participants will work on shaping, sanding and finishing their hardwood boards and will all leave with a beautiful board made of mixed domestic species.

All boards will be finished with a natural food-safe finish that is a blend of oils and waxes.
