Rush Stool (July 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) with Christopher Solar

In this course you will build a small hardwood stool frame and weave the seat in the classic "rush" pattern using natural seagrass rush. The course will cover all the woodworking steps needed to turn basic milled lumber into a sturdy, attractive stool frame, including: joinery, shaping, assembly, and finishing. Once the frame is ready, we will go step-by-step through the careful process of weaving the seat.
