Woodshop Basics (October 20th, 6:00pm - 9:30pm) with Liz Parker

Before getting down to business in a woodshop, you've got to know the basics. 'Woodshop Basics' covers the safe, and productive operation of major shop tools while making a simple hardwood cutting board. 

This course is a power tool intro for those looking to learn how to properly operate a table saw, planer, jointer and more. This is your first step to learning how to work safely and confidently in a woodshop and make the best use of standard tools you'll find in most shops. 

All participants will leave with the knowledge they've gained about woodshop basics as well as a simple hardwood cutting board they've made during the process of learning about the tools.
