Custom Axe (June 6-8)
You never know when the opportunity to fell a tree or chop some firewood might come about. Be prepared and make sure you've got a great quality axe always by your side.
Join us as we learn about axes, and then shape hickory handles for the last axe you'll need in this life.
On the second day, we'll spend the entire afternoon cutting and shaping our handles before mounting the steel body heads.
The heads are manufactured by a local bladesmith named Nick Verbree of Old Soldier Toolworks. The 2lb heads feature a high carbon cutting edge and are of an absurdly premium quality.
Thursday, June 6th 6:00 - 9:30pm and
Saturday, June 8th 1:30 - 5:30pm (7.5 hours)
* Courses are transferable to another person, but non-refundable. Please ensure they work with your schedule.
